Cannot 'clean' registry?

Every time I run ANY registry clean it will find invalid entries but it will not remove them, I have tried several times all with different software.

Suggestions?
 
have you tried ccleaner?

You could probably go in and do it manually, but im not sure how to do that.
 
I use that but I still find invalid entries with other software and it wont delete, I have vista, and all these programs worked with XP so I don't know if it has to do with OS compatibility.

edit: crap, i just used the registry cleaner and it worked, arg!
edit: easy cleaner is still finding 162 invalid entries...
