Cannot connect to internet

hi,
i have a laptop connected to internet wirelessly.and moved my desktop from wired and trying to connect to my wireless router.
i have added a belkin g+ 802.11g desktop card to my desktop computer
tried for days to connect,
only problem i can see is when i look at my network connection details then my network properties, the authentication page is greyed out, is there anyway to enable this page please,
i am running vista on laptop and xp on desktop with service pack 3
i had them running together when desktop was wired.
 
Have you even configured the wireless on your router yet?
type in your browser(on the computer that works obv)
one of these address' should work
192.168.1.1
192.168.2.1
