Cannot delete jpeg!

I just gotten my laptop back from my son and how shall i put it there are some pics on there that I am not too happy about on there .I have removed all of them except there is one jpeg file that will not delete at all.I try to left click it but there is no delete option and even when i file/delete it will still not remove. Any suggestions,I'm no expert on computers so any help much appreciated as I would like this removed

Hi thanks for fast response.

downloaded the MoveOnBoot but when i come to put in the file to be deleted it comes back as 'Please specify a file name' box with The above file name is invalid.It wont except the file?
Anymore help appreciated
