"cannot find input file"??????????

Using system recovery cd for sony vaio, as soon as it starts to try and copy files on the cd, an error message appears saying "cannot find input file", then it shows me the a: prompt. Cd is brand new. Any suggestions?

I'd try it on another computer to see if it's a problem with your drive or the disk.

Tried CD on another computer and it read the CD just fine.
Guess i'm gonna have to get new recovery discs. Thanks alot.

I mean a new CD Drive.

I meant i will have to get a new cd drive.
