I used a program to change the SID. I then realized that it was not what I wanted to do so I saved my original SID in a text. Once the change completed I rebooted and it started loading a new login and applying new personal settings. I then opened the change SID program and reloaded my original SID and ran the program. Once that was finished I rebooted and now I cannot log in. It says to make sure that the domain is correct and to retype the password but nothing works.
I am at a point where I believe I will have to reinstall a new OS and start over. I am currently running Windows XP SP3 on a Dell XPS M1710.
