Cannot msg computer on network?

Hi, I need some help please. I have a Win XP network with Dell computers.

I can view the problem workstation in question on my computer in My Network Places and can ping its IP but when I installed Kimberlink messenger on my computer, it detects all the workstations except that workstation.

When I installed Kimberlink messenger at the problem workstation, the Kimberlink messenger can only see some of the other workstations. The Windows Firewall is enabled, but I unchecked the Do Not Allow Exceptions and specifically allowed Kimberlink messenger to have access. When I tried to message the other workstations that the problem computer can actually see, the message does not go out.

What is wrong?

Try turning the firewall all the way off.

yea. Also find out what port the messenger uses and make sure that it is not being blocked by the firewall
