Cannot open what I want on internet!!!

I have norton internet security and I just cannot open some videos like overdrive (mtv.com) and others, some pictures galleries, and I removed norton from my computer memory I think completely because I followed all those additional steps that we are supposted to, but after I reestart my computer again I still have the same annoying problems!!! It wasn't the norton that was causing that? What else can be?
