Cannot read hard drive in MS DOS mode

Hi
I have a new problem.
I have 2 hard drives C and D.
When I working in MS DOS (Restart in MS DOS or reboot and F8)
I cannot read my second drive D. It gives me error
Not Ready reading drive D
whenever I try to do with it.
But properly working with it (I mean drive D) in Windows and
MS DOS prompt

Any idea what’s going on?

Sounds like your trying to read a NTFS partition in DOS? You'll need a modified version of dos to be able to do that
