Hello,
I would like some help please, i cannot seem to uninstall on my computer despite being set up as an administrator. I have recently removed Norton from my computer (which is where the problems started). The basic run down of events so far which may shed some light to the more knowledgable computer users are as follows
1. Installed Virgin Media BBand - Internet worked
2. Installed PC Guard - PC Guard prompted me to uninstall Norton.
3. Internet Explorer won't show web pages. Housemate's PC still connects to internet but mine won't.
4. Norton has not been fully removed and won't allow reinstallation as previous version is still registered as being on system.
5. Can't uninstall the rest of Norton as i do not have the authorisation see first paragraph.
6. Can't delete Norton using cmd prompt as when i try to delete last 2 files in folder "access is denied" shows.
