Canon A560 7.1MP picture size???

Hey guys, I have the Canon A560 and it has 7.1MP and I was wondering, what's the biggest size I can print pictures with this camera without things blurring or decreasing quality on the picture???

This is actually rather theoretical :P First off, most ads talk about printing in say 72dpi where as most printers print at around 300. I know for a fact that 5MP is just under the amount required to have a full 8x10 print at 300dpi. I had to expand my photos about 25% to fill in the rest of the area, but the outcome was still near-perfect.

I believe your biggest downfall will not be the resolution of the camera but the quality of the photo. I can almost guarantee almost any photo from from say a 6.1MP SLR would look better than a typical point-and-shoot camera such as yours. It all boils down to lens quality and all...

So, to answer your question, I'm sure you could print a fine 8x10 and probably larger if you wanted.

The largest resolution my camera takes is 3072x2304. And I don't really know what dpi means... :o

I'm off to play some Warcraft 3 (DotA mod) :P
