Can't auto-set time.....

whatdo you mean you can't set it automatically, do you mean that double click on the clock and go to internet time and cick on "update now" it gives an error?
 
Ya, it's annoying because it never works..... And when I set in manually, it'll revert to the previous time and date......(which is like a few years ago)...... Nothing seems to work.....

I wouldn't say it's illegal but due to a recent mobo replacement, I had to borrow my neighbor's Windows XP Professional, which, btw, wasn't on the original disk.... But I'd doubt it would be illegal......
 
I was having a prob like you. My computer clock was set back to the year 2000 sometimes 2002 (not constant) everytime I restarted the pc. I'm not sure what might caused it. After I reformatted my pc it's gone. i believe i wasn't using pirated windows xp sp1 that time.
