Can't boot from SSD

Hi,

I installed an SSD Drive about 6 months ago and left the original HDD in the desktop computer. Weird thing is, when the HDD is unplugged the computer will not boot from the SSD. I want to remove the HDD but cannot since Windows won't load with the SSD.

I'd really appreciate help with this.

Thanks,

AJ

Your bootloader is probably located on the HDD. If you want to remove the HDD, remove it and then rebuild the bootloader.

What OS are you running? I want to give you specific instructions, as they vary from Windows 7 to newer OS'.
