can't buy stuff with paypal?

alright, so i want to get a game off of D2D, but when i go to choose paypal (i have about $30 in my paypal account) it asks for my credit card number why? i dont have a credit card and this is the only way i can get this game for 20% off. plz help

You should just use the credit card. Paypal should take the first $30 out of the account. That's how it worked for me 3 years ago.
