Can't change boot order with Asus X250TA

I want it to boot from the USB. I pressed F2 while it is booting to go to the BIOS set up page. I went to BOOT and change the boot from to the USB and pressed F10 to save and exit. It boots right to the hard disk (emmc). Tried a few times and no luck.

Any suggestion?

I went to "Recovery Creator Center" and created a bootable USB (containing boot, efi, sources folders and bootmgr, bootmgr.efi and reagent.xml.

If you keep hitting F10 (can vary) on boot, it should bring up the boot menu, which lists all devices you can boot to. Check to see if the drive shows up there.

If not, either there is an addition setting in the BIOS you need to change to enable USB boot, or the USB was not setup properly.

I logged on to Asus's Chat support and got this resolved.
There must be a FAT32 USB inserted. Otherwise there is no option in the BIOS to change the boot order.
You also need to disable Secure Boot.
Then after pressing F10 to save and exit, you need to tap the ESC key while it is rebooting.

A little cumbersome.
