Hi, just wondering if anyone can help me out.
Have a toshiba laptop running vista, have been connected to internet using modem with no problems for months, but for the past 2 days i couldnt connect to internet, phoned virgin customer support, he did all the tests and it came back that it was my laptop that is the problem, he said it was the DHCP that was not working and to take it back to pc world to get it fixed. Have reinstalled vista from scratch will no joy. Anyone had any experience of this and if I can fix it my self?? Also is DHCP a file in vista or is it hardware?? excuse my lack of knowledge.
ps. my other comp is connecting to internet using same virgin modem!
