can't copy-paste or move files

when i try to copy&paste files or folders in Windows Exploler, nothing happens
i can't move files or folders too
this appeared few days ago
i use win 2000

i'm not totally sure if my problem has anything to do with computer security, but i can't think any other explanations

How fast is your computer? How much memory do you have? This could be a speed issue.
