Can't decide on a memory set

I currently have a Gigabyte x58a ud3r running a set of Mushkin blackline (these: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820226028)

I want to double the memory to 12GB, but that set is not available on newegg ( and it is too expensive elsewhere) I got my mushkin set when it was on sale w/ a rebate for $114.

I am currently deciding between these two:

Specs seem identical


anyone have experience with any of these sets? I am leaning towards the Patriot set, as I owned their memory several years ago and loved it. but things change.

As you saw, both sets are spec'd the same. I'd say whichever you like better, although the Patriot is a little cheaper.
