Cant Delete Outlook Express

I reciently started getting hundreds of spam messages on one of my Outlook Express accounts so I deleated the account. It is now running fine but I can no longer delete any of the messages when I hit the delete button. Any ideas ?

There was no need to create another thread about this issue, I have deleted the other thread.

Are you saying you have created different identies? What happens when you try deleting an email?

I started a new thread as I figured I had posted in the wrong place, sorry. When I hit delete the red button flashes but nothing is deleted. I have two accounts one is from work that goes to my house so I deleted that account to put a stop to the auto generated spam. My one account (personsl) in OE is running fine, I just cant delete anything !
