I have an IBM thinkpad Z61m. It is on Windows XP Pro. I have tried download America's Army and Windows Vista. Both download instantly (when should be over 2gb) and are anywhere from 0 bytes - 3 kb. I then can't do anything with them. But I go right next door to a friends computer and the same links download just fine. This occurs in Internet Explorer and Firefox. Any advice?

Have you tryed a google??

Id suggest backing up your files and doing a restore, or either windows recovery / reformat

are these bit torrent files? the torrent will be small in size and then you must start the file in the client (ie, azerus, bittorrent, utrorrent, etc) and then the download will commence.

i thought that but they are just ISOs and obviously microsoft would not use bit torrent. My friends computer doesnt have any torrent files or software either

provide a link to where you are trying to download please and maybe that may clear a way if one of us can see it

It doesnt stop after 2gb it just never starts and yes i can download other stuff... it seems to only happen on XP Pro because when I boot to Vista I can download just fine. argh
