can't find vegas icon

I just installed Vegas movie studio platinum 12 on my i 7 64 bit windows 8.1 computer and can't find the program.it's not listed on the desk top and not listed in programs and features but it's there somewhere. when I try to reload it says "program already installed" where is it?
 
yes, first thing. All I got was advertisement to buy the program again. I already have it. no need to buy it again. I had a good version of Sony Vegas 11 with win 7 X 64 but it wouldn't work with windows 8. I upgraded from windows 8 to 8.1 and now i'm still having trouble.
 
crap, didn't see thst he said when i first read it. Sounds like it didn't install properly. Without it being in add/remove programs, you can't uninstall and reinstall. However there should be an uninstall icon in the program folder in the program files directory.
 
Like said look in your drives Programs Files (X86) and your Programs Files both. If its in either open it and look to see if there is a Start application file. If so try to start the program, if it starts and runs fine just copy the file over to your desktop then to where ever you want it. If not, there should be a uninstall file, run it and see if it will uninstall it. Then try installing it again.
