Can't get correct size on HD

I installed my computer a while ago, and formatted it, but then it only showed 127 Gb. I got the tip to install SP2 (or rather 1, but why not install 2?). I disconnected it and only later installed SP2, but it still only shows 127 Gb. What to do now?

i just solve the same problems . Go micorsoft download Service pack 2 and install it , restart then everything is ok

GO Device Management -Storage and c the real Capacity

If its a BIOS limitation, SP2 wont do jack.

I don't want to quote myself, but I HAVE installed service pack 2. That's the SP2 part of my post. :P

I've got an Abit NF7-SG2 bought a month ago. Should I need to update BIOS? Will it work?

Also, when in BIOS, screwing around (or just looking), it says my second HD is 200 Gb.

does your motherboard support flash upgrading of the BIOS, if so go to the manufacturers site and look for any available updates of the hardware...

as for the fact that your bios are showing the correct size, i would assume that is a problem with your o/s.
