cant get HDMI signal to TV

hi all,

i have a zbox ID42 and a panasonic TH-37PX70BA TV and when i connect my HDMI cable to the tv and zbox i get no signal, i know the HDMI ports work as i have an apple tv aswell and it works hooked up to either port using the same cable,

can anyone suggest why this isnt working?

been resolved

basically my tv is HDMI v1.3 and the PC is v1.4 so its compatibility issues

as soon as i plugged it in my tv downstairs that supports HDMI v1.4 it worked

luckily i have a HDMI/DVI adapter and i used that for my tv and i can now get video and sound!!! (i find the latter really hard to understand as DVI is just for video)
