Can't Install IE9!

A couple of days ago I made the stupid decision (don't ask why) to remove internet explorer from my laptop. I'm using Windows 7 and to do this I went into the programs list, looked at the automated updates, and unchecked the one for IE9. Now I want my internet back, but I have no way of getting online to download a new browser. Would someone please tell me what to do, in clear concise steps. Thank you.

1. Download Google Chrome from http://google.com/chrome using the browser you're using right now to post this.

2. Transfer the setup file to a flash drive.

3. Plug flash drive into computer without IE 9.

4. Run setup and install Chrome.

5. Bliss.

Or, you can go to Programs and Features in Control panel, then click Turn Windows Features On or Off, and re-check IE 9.
