i had a really strange problem with me relatively new laptop. sometimes when i logged onto my laptop, my desktop icons were gone, the theme was changed in windows 7 basic i believe and in the bottom-right corner a message showed up, saying that it has failed to connect to a windows service. i tried some things but all didnt work. so, because my laptop was new and i didnt have that many data on my pc, i tried a reinstallation of windows 7. i think everything works except for my usb ports.
i don't know that much about drivers, but i just can't use/install them..
my asus live update shows an intel usb3.0 driver update. When i try to update/install it, the driver is downloaded, but it doesnt install the driver or anything. it just jumps back to the screen, showing that there is an update available. i tried updating and uninstalling the usb drivers from the device manager. i tried downloading the driver from intel. all doesnt seem to work. in the device manager i keep getting those yellow warning signs.
Anybody got ideas? please?
