hello, i am trying to install vista 64bit on my new samsung 1tb hard drive but i cant because it says its dynamic. the hdd is clean and brand new. I have tried formatting it to hfts from the hdd managment section but with no success.
I have a 320gig partitioned hdd but vista 32 bit and xp32 bit which i will be erasing after vista 64bit is installed.
any help?>
Thanks

try just deleting the partition (if u use vista 32bit right click and delete volume) from the Disk Management inside your current OS and then create a partition with the Vista Disk. If that doesn't work, maybe someone else can help, It's late.

ive deleted the partition on my samsung drive so it now shows up as un-allocated space, however it still says its a dynamic drive in disk managment and i cant install vista on it because of this.
Anyone have any other ideas?
