cant install visual studio 2005 on vista

help please i cant install visual studio 2005 on vista. it says please insert the disk visual studio 2005 dvd but i know it works because ive had it running on XP

i have it on my pc it works fine what kind are you installing? is it on teh dvd or the cd's

nothing just leaving it alone to install itself

what you installed it in windows vista?!
the only way to install it is to install xp sp2 and install it under compatibility under windows xp sp2

no i have it on my final vista business and it works fine are you sure you havent done something in the install..
