Hi,
I have a fujitsu Siemens Amilo 1818 laptop that I am having problems with, basically I cant install windows on the machine as the hard drives are not recognised at all. If I try with Vista, I get a message telling me that the hard drives are formated in something call GPA format or if I try and use XP I get a message saying that there are no hard drives attached to the PC. I know that the drives are SATA drives but the version of Vista I know will work as it works on the desktop machine with SATA hard drives that I am using to post this message. I have managed to load up UbuntU on the PC and that shows me that the drives are there as I could install that on them if I wanted to. Its doing me head in and I dont know what I can do.
Please Help.
Thanks
