I have a Lenovo laptop running Windows 10.

I have afew program/apps on my desktop but i have lost the ability to load these onto my laptop.

i keep clicking using the mouse but nothing happens, very frustrating as I want to get on with a task I have.

I ran CC Cleaner to see if that helped but still no good.

Does anyone have any idea please.

Thanks

What are these "programs/Apps" called? You can't simply move a program shortcut icon to another computer and expect it to work.

The program is called CStatz, I am not attempting to move it from or to another computer, same laptop is always on. When I say loading onto my laptop I just mean clicking on it.

How many programs aren't loading? You may have malware on your system. If you open task manager, does it say the program is running? What percentage is your disk usage at?

Looking at task manager I see that adaware service seems to be using quite a bit of memory.

How much memory of total is it using? You could disable adaware from starting at bootup and then try opening the programs.

Okay, do this please. Run Autoruns and post your ARN file here. You may need to zip the file to upload it.

Now, run rKill.

Now run Superantispyware.

Now run Herdprotect portable.

Now run HijackThis and post your log.
