Can't log into sites using IE7

Internet Explorer does not let me log into sites that require my username/password, such as Yahoo mail, bank accounts, credit card account, etc. A blank screen shows up after I submit my info. I can use Firefox fine though.

What settings in IE 7 must I change to enable me to access these sites? I have Vista Home Premium.

Try updating your installation of IE to Internet Explorer 8. There might be website components that IE7 isnt processing because the components are updated but your browser is not
