Hi,
Sorry if this is the wrong area of the forum.
I just was given a new laptop from my work. It's a bit older, but they were going to recycle it so I said I would gladly take it for home/school. The problem is that I can't log onto the computer, because there's only one account/username connected to their server called "Evangeline". I do have the password, but this text always pops up when I attempt to logon:
"There are currently no logon servers available to service the logon request."
The computer name is BETH24 and have tried to logon locally using Computername\local username
But I keep on getting that same message as above (I don't know the local username or password). Would or could this be the same as the Evangeline login? Do I have to get a new operating system to unlock the computer?
The following are the specs of the computer:
HP ProBook 4730s - 17.3" - Core i7 2630QM - Windows 7 Pro 64-bit - 8 GB RAM - 750 GB HDD
Thanks!!
