cant overclock at all;

CPU amd 5400+
MOBO EGS GF8200A

ive tried underclocking my ram
changing my hypertransport
upping the voltage
turning cpu spread off
its a new mobo so idk if i can change the multiplier yet or id try that but
i get to the windows bootscreen and it locks up half way through


any suggestions or advice

other then gettinga different mobo
and i know ECS isnt the most liked brand but i got it cheap as an upgrade from my msi k9 board

overclocking through a program doesnt exist, unless you own a 5 year old dell or something like that. what you have to do is open your computers start commands called the BIOS and change the settings in there.

Na! You can do it through a program, but most people do it through the BIOS... the BIOS is best anyway.

The program there is Everest Ultimate, but that's for benchmarks.
