Can't read Boot error message-too quick to read.

Dos Boot

Hello, is there anything I can do to slow down or stop the process so I can read the blue screen error message when I am trying to boot up?
Thanks for help.

Press F8 while booting to get the Boot Options menu. There should be an option there to Disable Automatic Reboot (or something similar).

if you have a digital camera and another PC, take a close-up video clip of it.
you should be able to stop at the exact frame at which the error message shows.

ive done it before, it works :D

Thank you guys! I knew there were things that I could do. Sorry I took a while to get back to the forum, I was at work all day. I tried to log on to reply but forgot my
password. I need to make them easier to remember. I will try this stuff out later tonight
if time permits. John

By the way, I did try to video this message but it came out too distorted to see well.
Maybe if i could steady my hand. That's funny I thought of that already but wasn't
happy with my results.

i had a high-quality canon camera to work with :P
i actually ended up with 3 frames of a error message when i had to grab it off of a laptop with a failing HD.
canon pwns.
olympus is an amazing company too though.

Okay, F8 worked and it is a general windows blue screen error - "windows was shut down to prevent damage to the computer" or something liked that.
I know that it is the USB driver for 2Wire (wireless internet with Yahoo browser software)
I am trying to get an updated version of the software/driver and load that in. We will see what happens.
