Can't Run CleanUp (Anti-Virus)

Everytime I try to run CleanUp, a box pops up and says something like "This program has encountered an error and must shut down. Any work you were working on may be lost." I ran the demo-mode and it worked fine, except it dosen't really delete anything. It only shows you what it does. CleanUp is a program that deletes unessacery files and frees up your computer, it gets rid of files ex. .tmp files, deleted files that aren't really deleted etc. I've tried uninstalling it and reinstalling it but I still get the error sign. I had deleted CleanUp and some other stuff that looked suspecious in the registry and everything is working good. Plus my Recycling Bin is now cleared now and everything deletes good.
