I just upgraded my motherboard and CPU (ASUS M3A78-T with AMD 2.4 Tri-core, 2GB RAM)...

I just reformatted my C drive and reinstalled windows. Windows XP Pro opens fine, but now I want to upload driver that came with the motherboard.

I CANNOT OPEN OR RUN ANY DVD'S

I tried service pack 2 and many other DVD's. CD's open ok...so it appears...

I have NO idea what to do now. This thing chugs without the upgraded drivers n firmware...I think I need a DVD software decoder but have no idea how to get it since all the ones I have are on DVD!!

well since you have the internet at your disposal
just type in the model of your computer and then the word drivers into google
I'm sure you can find all the drivers avaliable for download there

have you tried deleting upper/lower filters? I would try this a common problem when upgrading/ reformatting operating systems. deleting these filters fixed my problem after a reformat. i had the drivers installed but i still had to do this. Try it tell me if it works again.
