Can't run windows 8.1 installer in uefi boot

Hi,
Here's the story:
A few months ago, I've got a laptop (hp envy 17-j100). I completely formatted the hdd and did a clean install of windows 8.1. I didn't now what legacy and uefi was, but in uefi, the usb with the windows installer on it didn't show up in my boot list. That's why I changed it to legacy, and installed my os. Now, I want to change this to uefi, but for that I need to reinstall my os. I made a backup of all my files I want to keep, and made a bootable use drive with an ISO file (using Rufus). I shut down my pc, change the bios the uefi but the usb doesn't show up in the boot manager (secure boot was off). I changed it back to legacy, started windows, and after reading about this in the Internet, I found that my usb had to fat32, but, fat32 only supports files smaller then 4gb, so it was impossible to make a fat32 drive. What I did then was, I burnt my ISO file to a dvd-rw and tried it again. Didn't show up in boot mangager...

Any suggestions?
Cédric

Update:
I was wrong, i can't use fat32 not because the 4gb limit (my ISO is only 3,4gb) but just because Rufus tells me I can't do it. (Don't ask me why).

Hi,
Sorry for posting this but I've found a solution. Here it is if you have the same problem.
My ISO file was corrupted, for that reason, I couldn't put it on a usb with fat32. Also, I forgot to select gpt partition table in Rufus (uefi only works with Guid Partition Tables).

Again, sorry for posting but I hope this helped people with the same problem.
Cédric
