i jz wondering why i can't save an excel document from other's pc in network.when i opened the file it says "read only"then when i save it.it says unable to save.anybody have any idea on this?please help.TQ
TQ for the reply..before this i've got no problem in this matter(save file from my college's computer.then how this suddenly happened?if it's true like u said,then what setting i've to adjust.so that i can save file from his computer?please help.TQ
I don't think it has much to do with your network settings, but more about file sharing. The folder you are sharing may not have the be chaecked to allow network users to change files (folder, properties, sharing) OR You have a document that has been set for read only (right click file, properties, attributes).
