First of all.. here is information about my computer.

MB: Abit NF7S
Procesor: AMD Athlon 2500+
OS: Windows XP Pro
RAM: 1Gb
Hard Disk: Maxtor 120Gb
..

Everything was working normal yesterday, I was using computer like any other day..
Only thing I did was installin Photoshop because I needed to edit some images. Let's just say everything was working fine. And before I turned off my computer last night I did close Photoshop directly with Task Manager, quicker.. because there were too many images open in Photoshop..

And today.. well I turned on my computer and - NOTHING. It keeps restarting when trying to open Windows XP.

All I get is blue screen

and dissapeers quickly.. it's on screen for like less than half of second and then system restarts.

Now I wonder what could that be? Funny thing is when I turn on computer my keyboard works fine and I can go to BIOS normally, but after I leave BIOS keyboard simply doesn't work anymore.
Especially when computer restarts cause of error described above.. for example when i get options like start windows in SAFE MODE and stuff.. but I can't choose any option, cause keyboard at that point doesn't work.

Also if I set CD as First boot device and insert Windows XP installation CD to atleast run Repair and Recover option, but again I can't do that either?! It gives me option "press any key to boot from CD" but keyboard, as you can guess - doesn't work.

What could be wrong?

Regards,
eu7.

(sorry for bad english)

You could try doing a Windows Repair, But if that dont work Im afraid its probably gonna have to be a reformat!

I was planning to do Repair but I couldn't boot Windows XP cd.. keyboard won't react.

But funny.. now I've unplugged hard disk just to skip HDD check and I was able to boot that CD.. and plugged harddisk on again.. Now I'm doing Repair, checking disk (CHKDSK) and now I got feedback info "CHKDSK found one or more errors on the volume"..

now I'm waiting for CHKDSK /R result..

kool:) , what was the problem, as mods on most forums say, if you start a thread with a problem its nice to tell them what it was and how you fixed it in the end just incase someone else gets the same prob in the future!:)
