Can't stop the pop-ups?

Hello,

I have my internet security settings enabled correctly but for some reason I have internet explorer (which is not my default browser) constantly opening at times with advertisements, pop-ups or just a blank page.

How can I stop this from happening?

There are a few other free web browsers which can cope up
and give good access to web. Try NetCaptor, AM,
Avant and Maxthon:

Click on Tools menu, and click on Options and also on Internet Options.
You will find an option to block popups.

Thanks for the reply. The pop-ups come up from internet explorer mainly and they do when an internet browser is not ever open. It will open itself out with me doing anything.

Do you have a solution for this?

is my default browser right now? If what your saying
works this probably wouldn't be happening.

Try clearing your cookies and cache. It may just be something obnoxious like that. And definitely switch to firefox
