Hi i recieved a capture card from a friend and it didnt come with a manual or the install disc. So i put it in my computer and found out it was a radeon 7200. I went to the website and installed the drivers but I have no idea how to use it at all. At the moment i have a cable running from the card that has a plug for my moniter and also a RCA cable running to it. How would i go about hooking my xbox up to it so i can record and also how do i record thanks alot in advance.

Well you would need some software that would see the card and your input. The website didnt mention anything about a program to use with it?

i actually have this thing when i installed the driver called catalyst control center and its really weird and hard to use

catalyst control center is for setting up your video card settings and monitors. Thats not going to help you capture any video. Do a google search for your card and see what programs people are using with it. Chances are, your gonna end up buying a capture program to be able to use it.

wait wait wait...I just re-read that again.... basically you have a video card with RCAs on it? Are you sure those RCAS are inputs and not outputs?

From the ATI website:

At-a-glance

* Powered by the Radeon™ 7200 graphics processing unit (GPU)
* 64MB of powerful single data rate (SDR) memory
* Featuring ATI's Charisma Engine™, Pixel Tapestry™ and Video Immersion™ technologies
* Integrated Transformation, Clipping and Lighting (T&L)
* Accelerates today's top 3D games
* Industry leading video playback
* Supports 3D resolutions (32-bit color) up to 2048x1536
* AGP 2.0 Compliant BUS - AGP 2X (3.3V), AGP 4X (1.5V), or AGP2X/4X based systems
* Video-out option available for European customers
* Designed and manufactured by ATI
* Featuring Catalyst™ - ATI's industry-leading software suite with frequently scheduled free updates providing additional features and performance over the product's lifetime

Thats probably your problem. Those are RCA outputs not inputs. In which case, you have a video card with RCA outputs and not a capture card at all.
