Card temps

Yea i have had my 9550 for about 2 years now. It is always running at 40(c) and i have not had one problem. Usually overheating for a video card is about 60(c) and a cpu is about 55(c). Dont worry about it at all.

CPU overheats at 55C?! No way. My AMD Athlon XP 1800+ is OC'ed to the level of a 2400+ and the idle temp is around 50-54C. And this is with the stock cooler. I've had no problems whatsoever.

its not overheating, it's more of an upper limit that you should set yourself. thats what i think anyway

Yeah, indeed your temps are just fine. I had mine at around 55 idle and up to 93 load (Celsius) on my 6600GT (OC'D 570/1200). I changed the HSF and then got 35 idle and a max of 55 LOAD All it takes is a good cooler. However, in your case it would be a waste of money.

Guys, my ATI Mobility Radeon X300 on Fujitsu N3510 causes thermal shutdowns everytime I play 3D games. Do u think a cooling pad can help? Speedballs have failed to accomplish anything...

my card oc'd never gets above 65c under load... yet my cpu runs slightly warm
