Dear All,

I have a new laptop. I need suggest from you all about how to care laptop battery.
Nowadays I follow the instruction from manual instruction book. That're cycle charging (discharging then full charging) for 3 times. Next when low battery I just full charging then disconnected AC Power. But that unneccesary.

What I did can care my laptop battery life..? Right now I'm rarely for travelling, so I often play it at my office. Can I loosing my battery from laptop then store it ? And just use my AC Power..?

Thx before for your suggest all...

Thank's...

But I mean.. which one the best I do.. ?
1. Keep using battery and doing discharge and recharge
2. Loosing my battery then just use AC Adapter

Thx 4 suggest..

With current laptop batteries(IE Lithiums) it's best to charge them as much as possible. Running them flat is fine now and then, but it's better not to. My little Averatec has been used quite a bit. I don't think I ever let it get below about 30%, and I run the battery calbration every few months(basically just runs it flat and recharges for you) I still can easilly get 2 hours out of my laptop, and some people complain they can't even get an hour of out these little guys!

But to more directly answer your question, don't fully discharge it all the time. And leaving it plugged in is just fine as well. Lithium batteries can't be overcharged(unless there's some fault :P)
