carnt install a game!

i didnt really know where to put this so sorry if its in the wrong place. the problem is i tried to unistall a game using it own unistaller and it failed so i deleted it manually from the hardrive. but now i want to reinstall the game i carnt, the installer just comes up with repair or delete both of which dont work. i have done a search for any file to do with this game and deleted them and i have deleted the game from the registery using "regedit". the problem is the game is still in add and remove programs i carnt get rid off it from there either it just fails. i have also tried using "ccleaner" but it made no difference.
i really dont know what to do now can anyone help?
