One of these two. I like them both. They look stylish, are big (full tower) and not as expensive. Now here are my questions;

1. which will have better cooling?
2. which will have more storage?
3. which will be quieter? (fans mounted where available)

Maybe you will have something similar to these cases? With LED fans and a side window though - if you have anything that might interest me, please write so.

Anal.

I have the 1200 and it is very quiet it also allows for you to adjust all fan speeds to make it super quiet there is good airflow around the case and has a place where you can hide all your cables to keep it nice and clean. :)

Is your name really Anal?

Kidding. I kind of like(from what i've read) the HAF 932. It's got good air flow and room to grow going for it, and I like the front port config. I also like the expandability for drives and video cards.. The only thing i'm not crazy about is the red LED fans, but I guess there is a switch to turn the lights off. Don't like the sound of steel and plastic parts, but at that price it seems like a killer deal. I hear it also comes with wheels so that would be pretty cool too.

I like the HAF because of side access hard drive bays.

I don't need to remove my GPU to access my hard drives.

This.

I have experience here as well. I owned an Antec 1200 and bought a HAF X to replace it.

Antec 1200 is overrated, it lacks features, and doesn't have the greatest looks, imo. The HAF 932 is better suited for good cable management, has more features, runs much more quietly (WITHOUT turning the fan speed down), and looks better externally, again imo. The only downside is the 932 does not have a black interior.

932 doesn't have dust filters or removable mobo tray also, unfortunately. It's mostly steel so it will be really heavy once your parts are inside.

Removable mobo tray isn't a biggy, especially with a big case where you have lots of room to work. Only time I use the feature of my crappy mid case is (was) getting my heatsink in there because there wasn't room to do it. If I had an extra inch or 2 between mobo and PSU, it would have been easy to do.

Dust filters, you can pick up cheap, or just use stretched out tights.

As for weight, a HAF weighs 13.2Kg, whilst the 1200 weighs 14.5Kg, so the 1200 is heavier (just) than the HAF is.

I would agree with the others and go with the HAF, it looks better, performs better, has better features, and, like the 1200, is pretty damn big

The only gripe I have with my HAF is that darned top PSU thing... which is fixed with the HAF X if you want that... 360 rads are blocked by the PSU mount unless you mount it backwards.

Wow alot of antec hate here, yes it can be a bit harder to clean with the dust filters and the hard drive bays but you only do this what once every 3 months and for the weight its not really a big deal. Also the 1200 has more space for hardware future proofing.

For a good reason. I owned an A1200 for over a year and as time went on I realized how basic of a case it was, especially for its price tag.

Honestly, only real pro I can find that the A1200 has vs the HAF 932 is paint. Sure it has a little more height, but whether that is a pro can be debatable and it also may have better psu placement.

But the 932 comes with more front panel connectors, more 5.25 bays, and bigger fans meaning less noise while maintaining very good airflow still. Sideways HDD access and toolless bays. Also better cable management, imo, unless you have a modular power supply, then it might not matter as much. The 932 also has a bulged back panel to accommodate for cords while the A1200 does not. All of these features and it still costs less.

I just do not see a reason to buy the A1200.

Also if painting bothers you enough, you might want to look in to the Black Edition, but thats a whole different story.

or just paint it yourself... just need some sandpaper, primer and some black spray paint, it's a couple of days work and a few $ for the stuff, so not exactly a biggy

True, but I mentioned the black edition because its only five bucks more.

Btw, when did you become a VIP? And congrats.

i just threw my antec1200 out in the local tip along with my coolermaster cosmos sport.....

i dont know if its just me but im sick of the rubbish build quality of pc casses, im looking at a case with a clean look just like the antec p183

the plastic looking casses just dont do it for me anymore
