is it okay to plug the casing fan to any pci plug or is there a specific designated pci plug for it:confused: as the computer seems to become slow and buggy after i washed the fan and replug it (i can't seem to remember if i plugged it in the same place it used to be)

your case fan plugs into a pci slot? Do you mean a 4 pin molex power connector?

Any of the molex cables coming from your power supply will power the fans just fine. Only downside to it is that you can't control the speed of the fans, unless you get a fan controller, which acts as a go between and allows you to change the speed of the fans, to keep temperatures at reasonable levels, whilst making your system quieter
