jevery Active Member Jul 13, 2010 #3 . Unless I'm mistaken, fans blow away from the supports that hold the fan in place. So, for instance, this fan, would blow away from the photographer.

ScottALot Active Member Jul 13, 2010 #4 Look around the fan shroud and see if there are any arrows. Also ^ is correct 99% of the time.
