Good mornin!
I need your help!
I have a PC/Chips M811 motherboard which I have put into an IceBox case.
Inside the case coming from the front audio and usb ports are two bunches of wires. One set of wires(8) are marked VCC,1+D,1-D,GND and VCC, 2+D,2-D,GND. The second set of wires(5) are marked MCPOWER,MC IN,GND,L-OUT L-RET,R-OUT R-RET. The motherboard manual makes no reference to these markings so I haven`t got a clue where they go on the mother board.
Can anyone help with an explanation as to what VCC etc stands for and where they sould be connected on the board.:o
Regards

I have just built a PC and have the exact same problem, everything works bar the front USB and mic ports, I just left the wires loose and used the back USB and mic ports although I could do with some help as I would prefer to use them.

Again the Mobo manual makes no reference to these at all, Where it highlights the USB connection to go the look like they take a block type connector rather than the single thin leads that the cable brakes down into, although I could try to fit them 1 one by one there must be a million combinations and trying them could bevery stressfull.

I had the same problem but I think that now i've got it right.
Your motherboard manual won't have anything about the wires coming from your case because the wires aren't a part of the motherboard. Have a look at your motherboard manual for info about the pins where the front USB cable is suppose to connect to. (and other cables)

Look through the manual / papers that came with the case for "Pin Assignment". That should shed some light on the subject, if you can make heads or tails out of it, Good luck.
