Whats the best. Case material.


Steel.
Aluminum.
Plastic.



Cause i have the ultra aluminus case, light weight aluminum.
its good for moving, but iam thinking of modding it, and .... i dont know...
i wouldnt know what to do with the aluminus case if i bought a new one.
selling is not an option.

Personal preference really. Steal is the strongest, but also the heaviest and toughest. Aluminum is light, but a bit more flimsy, however easier to cut and mod. Plastic is one the the lightest, but looks cheap, breaks easily, and isnt super durable, but it is easy to cut.

Mainly a fan hole on the top.

could i add a layer or patches of brushed steel or diamond metal.

I have the same case as you . Very nice case, and should be easy to mod seein as how its not that well built to begin with. At least i dont think it is, its more for looks. But i like it, i dont move my computer a whole lot so i dont have to worry about its durability really.
