Case question!

On the back of my case there is a red switch that says 115V, and 230V. Right now it's on 115V.

Should I switch it to 230v? :)

thanks

Are you on a standard 115-120ac line? or plugged into a 220vac? If you are on 120vac and switch that you won't get anywhere most of the time. If you running now you what they say... don't fix what isn't broke!

where do you live? The netherlands use a 230V 50Hz net, and the USA for example use a 115V 60Hz net.. If you set that switch to the wrong setting, you blow your PSU.. ;)

Or the protection circuit would trip the breaker real fast. But liken that to trying to power a 6v device with a 12v feed. zzzzzzz.... poof! Barbeque time! :(

So it's recommended for me to keep it at 115 volts? And the 230V is used in Europe only?

Thanks guys. I love this forum haha :P

I live in Iowa City, IA. United States.
