Case Size

Even though my build is a little ways into the future, I was wondering about case size. What exactly are full tower cases for? I would guess they make air flow easier, when building the computer you would have a bigger area to work in (I would think so) and the overall computer looks more impressive than a mid tower case. When I eventually build my computer I have chosen a full tower case, but should I scale down to a mid tower? Does it matter? here is the link of the one I have chosen for my project:

I like it because it has lights on it, yet its still a solid black case. I've seen several other mid tower cases like the Tsunami models that look nice, but as a begginer I would like that extra space. What do you all think?

If you have the money for a full tower case then go for it. They have more space to work in, offer better airflow, and look more impressive. But be careful when buying one, some cases are claimed to be full tower but aren't...technically...

Good choice, I am going to use that case for my next build too. Just keep in mind, it's a BIG case, so make sure you have enough room to put it under your desk or something. As for the extra space, it helps alot, but not mandatory for beginners.

Well, lol I was going to put it on my desktop... I have a rather large desk I use for a my computernow, I have my current PC, an old CRT monitor, speaker system, old gatorade bottles, telephone, lamp, boxes, magazines, dust..with room to do my homework lol. Plus I think a HUGE case might look intimidating and cool atop my desk, thats just me though :D

A good case is essential to a good build, good airflow and space make for maximum performance and upgrades!

:-P

You typically get more drive bays as well, although I doubt that will be an issue for you. Just make sure you have the space, and don't buy it with the intention of moving it often - those things are heavy!
