Case Specific Cooling Set-Up

So I recently put together the computer in my sig. When I had the side of the case off, I was running about 35C'ish idle, but as soon as I put the side of the case on, it went up to about 43C'ish idle.

The only fan I have so far on the case is the one in front which I believe is blowing in. So I was wondering how I could set up the rest of my fans and what I should do with a 'mysterious' spot on my computer.

I was thinking of doing Blue & Yellow Out, Red In, and I have no idea what the white section is for. Should I just get some foam to cover it up? or leave it open?

Also, if anyone can offer a decent brand of fan. (I think I need 120mm) I would prefer something more quite than air flow at the moment.

The White part is just for ventilation. No need to cover it up or try to get a fan in there. Just leave it alone.

If you are going to use all of the colored slots for a fan, the configuration that you posted will work fine. otherwise, I might only put one case fan in back and possibly one over the cpu as an exhaust if your cpu cooler blows up off the board or as an intake if it pushes air towards the back exhaust fan. I would also have that fan controlled by the motherboard vs the front intake and the back exhaust.

This fan may meet your needs:

I would use the two side panel fans as intake, otherwise the air might just end up going around in a circle. Also having more intake fans is better, for temperatures and for less dust accumulation.
